🌿 Hoya Bella Care Instructions
The Hoya Bella thrives beautifully when provided with a bright environment that mimics its natural tropical home.
-
- Sunlight: Thrives best in bright, indirect sunlight. Adequate light is essential to encourage active blooming, but protect it from harsh, direct afternoon sun, which can burn its delicate lance-shaped foliage.
- Watering: Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry out thoroughly between waterings. Use your clear pot to visually check the root zone; if the lower substrate is dark and damp, hold off. When watering, saturate the soil completely and ensure all excess water drains away freely.
- Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity levels (50% or higher). For the 3″ Rooted Start variation, utilize the adjustable clear lid to maintain high moisture early on, opening the top vent gradually over a couple of weeks to safely acclimate the vine to your room’s air.
- Temperature: Maintain a stable indoor temperature range between 65°F and 80°F. Protect your plant from cold window drafts, air conditioning vents, and sudden heat sources.
- Soil: Plant or top-dress using an incredibly airy, chunky, well-draining substrate mix, such as our signature Dirtbags Handcrafted Soil Blend fortified with extra perlite or orchid bark.
