Our story began with a tiny, wilted plant, two pairs of hands, and a whole lot of love. What started as a backyard rescue mission between my daughter and me quickly grew into a shared passion. Today, we are proud to share that bond with you through our curated collection of exotic plants and premium supplies.

How We Started

It all began on our kitchen counter with a sickly, drooping Venus flytrap. Refusing to let it go, my daughter and I teamed up to nurse it back to health. We spent countless hours together—researching, experimenting, and anxiously tracking its progress.

The day that little flytrap finally snapped its traps shut and began to thrive, a spark was lit between us. That single success turned a curious hobby into a deeply shared, lifelong obsession with the world of unusual flora.

The Growth of a Passion

Bonded by our love for greenery, my daughter and I expanded our collection far beyond that first resilient carnivore. Our home quickly filled with rare and exciting varieties from all over the world.

The joy of watching a new leaf unfurl or a cutting take root became the heartbeat of our daily lives. Watching our relationship grow alongside our plants has been the greatest gift. Eventually, we realized this passion was too big to keep to ourselves—and Dirtbags was born.
