Ditch the dirt and invite true architectural wonder into your home with our premium Individual Tillandsia Air Plants. These captivating, soil-free epiphytes pull all their hydration and essential nutrients completely through specialized cells on their foliage, meaning absolutely zero messy potting soil, repotting stress, or dirty hands are required! They are the ultimate choice for minimalist geometric hangers, styling custom DIY glass terrariums, nesting on driftwood, or brightening up an office desk.

At Dirtbags, we are a small mom-and-daughter business. We grow, care for, and hand-pick every single order ourselves to make sure a gorgeous, healthy specimen arrives at your door. To fit your personal design aesthetic, we offer these whimsical plants in your choice of a Single Unit, a 3-Pack, or a 5-Pack, broken down into four clear, baseline visual styles:

- Mixed Selection: A perfectly balanced, random assortment of shapes, sizes, and textures carefully selected by us to jumpstart your collection.
- Rosette Style: Symmetrical, flower-like clusters featuring tight, clean, nesting leaf layers (such as Tillandsia ionantha).
- Bulbous Style: Bold, dramatic, architectural varieties featuring a swollen base and winding, tentacle-like leaves.
- Fuzzy Silver Style: Heavily texturized specimens blanketed in a beautiful coating of light-loving silver trichomes.

Key Features

- Zero Soil Required: Epiphytic bromeliads that live entirely on air, light, and water—no messy repotting or potting soil needed.
- Flexible Pack Sizes: Available as single display pieces or curated value packs of 3 and 5 to easily fill larger terrarium builds.
- Custom Visual Styles: Choose your favorite growth pattern—Mixed, Rosette, Bulbous, or Fuzzy—to seamlessly fit your decor.
- Mom-and-Daughter Selected: Grown, nurtured, and personally sorted by our family team on our property to ensure optimal health.

Care Instructions

- Sunlight: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Keep fuzzy/silver types closest to bright window light, and filter delicate mesic green types back from intense, scorching direct afternoon heat.
- Watering Routine: Submerge your plants completely in a bowl of room-temperature rainwater or filtered water for 30–45 minutes once a week. Pro Tip: Shake off excess water thoroughly and dry them completely upside down on a clean towel for 2–3 hours to entirely prevent water from pooling in the center and causing crown rot.
- Humidity Levels: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Appreciates a quick, light leaf misting mid-week if kept in dry indoor environments or near active HVAC vents.

Pet Safety Information

- Toxicity: 100% Pet Safe! Tillandsia air plants are completely non-toxic and harmless to both cats and dogs. You can safely style them anywhere in your home without worrying about your furry friends.
