Description
Bring a playful, whimsical splash of color to your indoor jungle with the delightful Goldfish Plant. This charming exotic tropical is famous for its unique, pouch-shaped orange flowers that look remarkably like tiny goldfish leaping through a sea of green. Even when not in bloom, this plant is a stunner, boasting cascading vines densely packed with small, thick, dark green leaves that feature a polished, high-gloss sheen. Hand-picked and meticulously grown, it brings an energetic, vibrant personality and a premium botanical aesthetic to your space.
Perfect for adding a touch of living art to your home, it looks incredible trailing gracefully from a hanging basket, cascading over the edge of a high shelf, or brightening up a sunny desktop.
Care Instructions
-
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Strong indirect light is necessary to encourage heavy, consistent blooming—avoid direct harsh sun, which can scorch the glossy foliage.
- Water: Keep the soil moderately moist during its active growth period, but never soggy. Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out before watering thoroughly.
- Temperature: Prefers steady, warm environments between 65°F and 80°F. Protect it from cold drafts, which can cause its glossy leaves to drop.
- Humidity: Strongly thrives in moderate to high humidity environments (50% to 60% or higher is ideal).
Pet Safety Information
-
- Pet-Safe Houseplant: Great news for pet parents! The Goldfish Plant is non-toxic to cats and dogs, making it a perfectly safe addition to homes with curious furry companions.
